INDEPENDENT STUDIO // ALABAMA
Strange games.
Human stories.
MythCode is a small game studio interested in expressive systems, odd little worlds, and the moments where mechanics start telling the story for us.
CRAFT LEGENDS. CODE WORLDS.

SELF_NOT_FOUND
SELF_NOT_FOUND started with a simple idea: what if an AI could possess household electronics, but every thing it jumped into controlled completely differently? It turned into a physics platformer about an AI trying to figure out what it is while also desperately trying to get out of a house.

Possess random junk. Figure out how it moves.
A Roomba drives like a Roomba. A toy helicopter flies like one. A hard drive mostly just flops around. Getting somewhere is half the problem.

OLDER STUFF
Projects I still like enough to keep around.
Not everything I make needs to turn into a full release. Some projects are where I figured out a system, tried an idea, or learned what I definitely would not do the same way again.

Project CyberRunner
Project CyberRunner is a movement and combat prototype built around wall-running, traversal, and melee. I never turned it into a full release, but I learned a lot from building it.
Make something weird.
Learn from it.
Make the next thing better.
MythCode Studios is basically where I put the games and prototypes I keep convincing myself are “small projects.” I care a lot about mechanics that feel different, worlds with some personality, and making things that are memorable even when they are a little rough around the edges.
